Tentative Timeline
- Completed applications are due Thursday, March 28, 2024.
- Recommendation letters will be requested . You will enter information about your letter writer on the application form, so that we can contact them as needed after you submit your application.
- Notification of acceptance will be sent out after Friday, May 3, 2024.
- If you are accepted, you will have one week to confirm your intent to attend.
Admission Criteria
Students must be in 8th-11th grade (rising 9th-12th grade) at the time of application. For 2024: in the past we have required our participants to be in the San Francisco Bay Area. We will be holding our program online and accepting applications from students in the United States. The Summer 2024 program will be virtual.Ideal Candidates
Ideal candidates should:- Have a strong interest in AI (no previous AI background is required).
- Have considerable interest in biology or medicine.
- Have leadership skills and the potential to make a broader impact.
- Be passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse environment.
Application Checklist
- A school transcript or grade report — unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Provide the most recent year of grades.
- (Optional) Recommendation letter — on the application, you will be able to include the contact information of your recommendation letter writer (recommender's full name, email address, phone number) and upload their letter.
