Students will work with UCSF faculty on meaningful research projects and gain early exposure to careers in medicine, public health, data science, and AI.
Hands-on Learning
Participants engage with academics and professionals in the field to learn about cutting-edge ideas, such as AI applied to biology and healthcare.
What is AI and UCSF AI4ALL?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that allows computers to make predictions and decisions, solve problems, and perform tasks. It's a technology that's rapidly changing the world and has impact across all disciplines and industries.
The solution starts with education — that's where UCSF AI4ALL comes in. During the summer, UCSF and AI4ALL is launching a summer internship program designed to introduce aspiring high school students to clinical and computational research. The program will pair highly motivated AP Statistics and AP Computer Science students with faculty-led research projects, providing early exposure to non–wet lab biomedical research and data-driven discovery. .
